Here at the GPM our hearts go out to the victims, their families and to all of those who were impacted by the tragic events in Boston. A year ago I posted my Sowing Seeds of Love Declaration and today, on its one-year anniversary, I see the need for it more than ever.
As St. Thérèse of Lisieux said through me: “There is no grand plan. There is only a ‘grand being’. A state of being that is so grand it is capable of bringing peace and harmony to the planet. That is what I mean by being a ‘soldier of love’. It is a state of being so elevated that it heals…everyone in your path whether you recognize it or not. This is what you are called to do. My soldiers carry no weapons. My soldiers embody love.”
Love in action is what we witnessed at the Boston marathon as individuals risked their own safety to help others. They were soldiers of love and they are part of an army that is far greater in number and strength than that of any other army on earth. Teilhard de Chardin said, “The day will come when, after harnessing space, the winds, the tides, gravitation, we shall harness the energies of love. And, on that day, for the second time in the history of the world, man will have discovered fire.”
No matter what individual or group was behind this event, our compassion for one another and ourselves will bring us together in a state of love. God said to me in meditation that what people fail to realize when we try to solve problems through violence is, “They are going about it all wrong. The transformation they are looking for will not come about by tearing things down but by building things up, by building bridges of love between all people. This is so easy. All people must do is extend a hand to another and say ‘how can I help?’ But then they must act. They cannot just ask how they can help. They must help the best they can. The bridges will be built in this way. … you know that the only thing that will heal is Love. It is not democracy or autocracy. It is anything done with Love. It is not the form of government. It is what is in the heart of the people both in and out of government. Don’t cry. Be the Light.”
“(H)umanity is at a tipping point and it is weighted toward Love.” In a vision, God showed me an old fashioned seesaw, which was weighted down on the left side by the ego, fear, greed and all else that goes along with ego dominated living. On the right was Love. The seesaw was tilting toward the side of Love and as it did, all that was on the side of ego came tumbling down toward the side of Love. I could see that this transition caused extreme amounts of chaos and turmoil for individuals and for nations as the balance of the seesaw shifted toward Love. The seesaw came to rest at a point that was not completely weighted on the side of love put certainly weighted more to that side than toward the side of ego and is moving more in that direction all the time. The sense was that there is no urgency. This unfolding is happening as quickly as we are able to absorb it. Jesus asks that we, “Be the rain of love that falls down upon the parched earth. There is no element the earth needs more.”
The men and women helping to save lives during and after the explosion at the Boston Marathon were the rain of love falling on the parched earth. We thank them for being Love in action. We thank them for their ‘grand being’. For those of us who were not there, we can, and do send the vibration of love from our hearts to all of you who lived, suffered and died as a result of this dreadful event. To the individual(s) responsible, we send love and forgiveness.
